Opportunity Overview

Henkel is seeking an experienced professional to lead our Hps Americas team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across our manufacturing operations.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing methodologies, including value stream mapping, 5S, and A3 problem-solving. They will also possess excellent leadership, team building, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and facilitate continuous improvement workshops/events.

Key responsibilities include coaching on HPS activities and approaches, assessing integrated activity implementation, and establishing seamless working relationships with plant managers and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will also develop leadership teams and lead networks within the region, diagnose technical know-how and organizational behaviors that are barriers to implementation, track progress cluster sites master plan, and provide appropriate advice.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field), Business Administration, or Operations Management. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing operations or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a senior Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence role.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt required; Master Black Belt preferred). Project Management Professional (PMP) knowledge.
  • Skilled Facilitator: Excellent presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners and adapt training styles to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
