Job Summary:
">This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Emergency Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of fire fighting equipment and emergency vehicles.
">About the Role:
">We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced technician who can diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with our fleet of fire trucks and other emergency vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulics, and be familiar with NFPA 1901 and NFPA 1911 standards.
">Your Responsibilities:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. You will also be required to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including electrical system failures and hydraulic problems.
">Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of three to five years of experience as an Emergency Vehicle Technician, with a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues. You will also need to hold a valid CDL endorsement and have a strong understanding of NFPA 1071 Standard for Emergency Vehicle Technician Professional qualifications.
">Working Conditions:
">The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and noise. You will also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with heavy machinery or in hazardous environments.
