Cloud Software Architect Position

We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Software Architect to lead the development of our cloud-native platform.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable RESTful APIs using a modern, serverless, and event-driven stack on Microsoft Azure. This includes collaborating closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and own end-to-end features for our cloud-native platform, from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Architect and implement solutions on Azure, making key decisions about which services and patterns to use to meet scalability and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a distributed, cloud-based environment using tools like Application Insights.

Key Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex backend solutions using the .NET ecosystem.
  • Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based application development.
  • Hands-on experience with the Azure ecosystem, specifically for building serverless and event-driven architectures.
