We are seeking an experienced Tax Professional Specialist to support our tax practice in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with indirect and direct tax compliance across all relevant jurisdictions in LATAM.
- Conduct research and analysis on specific taxation matters, providing tailored advice to stakeholders.
- Identify risks and potential tax planning opportunities, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Determine uncertain tax exposures and manage appropriate taxation provisioning.
- Collaborate with third-party service providers as required to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Work closely with the Finance & Accounting teams to maintain adequate knowledge and application of taxation laws.
- Support all indirect and direct tax audits / inquiries from tax authorities (in conjunction with third-party providers and local finance teams).
- Prepare applications for taxation rulings, tax incentives, and tax exemptions where available.
- Provide expert advice to senior management on taxation risks and suitable transaction structures concerning acquisitions.
