Project Engineer Role Summary
">This is a dynamic and challenging position as a project engineer with at least 3 years of professional construction experience.
">The role is site-based, ensuring projects are executed at the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship.
">Job Responsibilities- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with the project manager and superintendent to build projects according to plan and specifications.
- Estimating and Subcontracting: Contribute to estimating efforts, including take-offs, coordinating sub bids, and materials pricing.
- Client and Partner Management: Maintain positive relationships and clearly communicate with clients, partners, designers, field teams, and subcontractors.
- Document Management: Read and manage plans, specifications, contracts, purchase orders, shop drawings, submittals, lien releases, RFI logs, and all other project-related documents.
- RFPs and Subcontractor Agreements: Issue RFPs, distribute plans and contract documents, create scope of work for subs and vendors, and conduct subcontractor site walk-throughs.
- Negotiation and Contract Administration: Assess data from subcontractor proposals, review, negotiate, and summarize.
- Subcontractor Agreement Management: Write and manage Subcontractor Agreements, ensuring all necessary elements are present.
- Punch List Management: Maintain punch lists with architects and build teams.
