Job Title: Cyber Security Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Expert to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • The successful candidate will have experience in implementing and managing network security devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data loss prevention tools.
  • They will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents, as well as responding to breaches swiftly and effectively.
  • Additionally, the Cyber Security Expert will serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity matters, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

The Cyber Security Expert will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  1. Implementing and managing network security devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data loss prevention tools.
  2. Monitoring and analyzing security incidents, including identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  3. Responding to breaches swiftly and effectively, minimizing potential impact.
  4. Serving as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity matters, both internally and externally.
  5. Conducting regular security audits and assessments to identify weaknesses in networks, systems, and applications.
  6. Creating and maintaining system and network diagrams, as well as process documentation.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Advanced level of English proficiency.
  • 4+ years of technical leadership experience in a cyber-security operations environment.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of CISCO ASA solutions specifically remote access.
  • Technical hands-on proficiency with at least three security-related systems and applications.
  • Experience documenting and maintaining processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment, intrusion detection, and network access control.
