The Role's Purpose

As a Customer Funds Reconciliation Analyst, you will be part of the Financial Operations Team, interacting with multiple areas of the Global Team to ensure proper tracking and analysis of Customer Funds and Cost of Sales.

Impact in this Role
  1. Supporting the accounting and reporting team with a clear focus on reconciliation of customer funds and cost of sales while demonstrating a good understanding of accounting principles and processes.
  2. Contributing to activities preparing, comparing, identifying, analyzing, and solving differences in customer funds and cost of sales to gain a deep understanding of the organization's processes.
  3. Improving the quality and speed of internal customer funds and cost of sales analysis by creating new reports and enhancing existing ones.
  4. Maintaining up-to-date financial controls and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  5. Responding promptly to account manager calls related to reconciliations.
  6. Ensuring confidentiality and integrity throughout the reconciliation and accounting process, ensuring fair and unbiased finance practices.
  7. Collaborating closely with partners to understand their needs and develop effective improvement plans.
  8. Providing clear and helpful information to support internal area inquiries.
  9. Actively listening to feedback to continuously improve the area and ensure alignment with business needs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or 2-3 years minimum proven experience in the financial area.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for conducting meetings and presentations.
  • Desirable proficiency in Spanish.
  • Ease of handling different systems.
  • Analytical and investigative skills.
  • Ability to work within fixed and short timeframes, especially during month-end closure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with remote teams globally.
  • Multi-tasking and resilient profile to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
