This role will drive cost reduction initiatives, foster supplier innovation, and work closely with internal teams to align sourcing activities with production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic sourcing plans to meet organizational goals.
- Establish partnerships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and reliable delivery.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee performance.
- Assess supplier performance in cost, quality, engineering support, and reliability.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary and drive innovation through supplier collaboration and process improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to refine sourcing strategies.
- Conduct cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to sourcing and procurement.
- Monitor industry trends and market availability to inform sourcing decisions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on strategic sourcing.
- Proven experience managing global supplier bases and distributed teams.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes for PCBA, box integration, and mechanical assemblies.
- Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, creativity, and effective communication abilities.
- High level of autonomy and accountability for results.
