Chief Software Architect

This role is responsible for leading the development of software applications and ensuring their functionality, usability, and accessibility. You will work on an agile product team, providing technical leadership and guidance to others within the technical discipline.
Key responsibilities include developing existing and new applications, monitoring and correcting complex software defects, working with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, designing and overseeing the functionality of business-critical portals/websites, discussing and recommending technical developments, contributing to and maintaining a roadmap for application software development, and providing fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields. Advanced English skills are required, including broad vocabulary, strong grammar, and the ability to lead meetings, argue, negotiate, and conduct training sessions.
Experience as a developer, writing code for multiple applications (NodeJS, TypeScript, Python), experience with DevOps practices or Extreme Programming (XP) as part of development, experience managing application operations and infrastructure, experience with cloud solution providers (such as AWS), experience consuming and writing APIs, experience working within a developer community, and strong communication skills are also required.
