Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $92,308 and $111,209 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Job Description

As a Family Physician at Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population. This includes conducting routine physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests and imaging studies, and prescribing medications as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors
2. Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed
3. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including mental health conditions
4. Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, while adhering to established protocols and guidelines
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in medicine (M.D.) or osteopathic medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency program in family medicine or related specialty
• Board certification or eligibility in family medicine or related specialty
• Current California medical license and DEA registration
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in English and Spanish

Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed. Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest technology and equipment, and our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and support.
