Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a full-time remote role for a RedHat OpenShift DevOps Senior professional. The DevOps Senior will be responsible for developing software, implementing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and managing Kubernetes and Linux environments.

The role requires daily collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop software using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Manage Kubernetes and Linux environments to ensure high uptime and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proficiency in Software Development: Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
  • Knowledge of Ansible Development: Knowledge of Ansible and its application in automation.
  • Strong Integration Skills: Strong skills in integrating multiple systems and technologies.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Prior Experience in DevOps Role: Prior experience in a DevOps role, especially with RedHat OpenShift, is highly desirable.
