Mobile App Architecture Expert
">We are seeking a seasoned Mobile App Architecture Expert to drive mobile development for a new digital health platform. This role involves collaborating closely with backend and design teams to deliver a HIPAA-compliant, scalable app that patients and providers can trust.
">- Own the mobile app architecture and build high-quality features using React Native.
- Ensure smooth integrations with backend services and meet performance and security standards.
- Participate in architectural decisions for mobile and bring expertise in best practices.
Requirements:
">- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years of recent React Native experience at production scale.
- Strong proficiency with React Native (TypeScript) and modern state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
- Deep understanding of mobile app architecture: navigation, performance tuning, offline-first workflows, and background tasks.
- Experience with native iOS/Android modules (bridging, push notifications, secure storage).
- Proven ability to design and deliver apps that meet security and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile and release processes for App Store/Google Play.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across backend, DevOps, and product teams.
- Prior experience contributing to technical decision-making and architecture discussions.
Nice to Have:
">- Prior experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with GCP, Firebase, or mobile analytics frameworks.
- Experience building cross-platform libraries or contributing to open-source React Native projects.
