Medical Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will assist in the operations of a post acute telemedicine service.
This role is responsible for daily oversight of physician scheduling and staffing, physician onboarding to the Telemedicine team, and other operational responsibilities.
Key duties include creating and managing the physician schedule with proactive planning, escalating critical staffing needs, and applying strategic thinking to manage complex schedules that require consideration of multiple factors.
- Create and manage the physician schedule with 3–6-month planning
- Escalate critical staffing needs
- Apply strategic thinking to manage complex schedules that require consideration of multiple factors: i.e. licensing, credentialing, staffing mix, physician preferences, varied shift lengths, coverage of multiple sites
- Develop an understanding of how the physician schedule directly impacts profitability and make adjustments as needed
Other essential duties and responsibilities include leading internal staffing calls, developing training programs, and ensuring accurate payroll documentation.
