Backend Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our core production code, working on distributed systems and implementing or optimizing machine learning paths.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in backend development in Python and at least one other language such as Golang, Rust, or C++. They should also have experience with Kubernetes, metrics-driven deployment, containerization, and microservices.

In addition, we are looking for someone who has experience with high traffic, low latency distributed systems, including queue-first architectures and sharding. A willingness to learn and work across different technologies is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend services and algorithms
  • Implement DevSecOps practices: security protocols, monitoring, metrics, and automated alerts
  • Write clean, well-documented, production-quality code with thorough test coverage
  • Strengthen engineering practices through code reviews, testing automation, and on-call support
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in backend development in Python and at least one other language such as Golang, Rust, or C++
  • Experience with Kubernetes, metrics-driven deployment, containerization, and microservices
  • Experience with high traffic, low latency distributed systems: queue-first arch, sharding, etc.
