Job Title

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and business management.

  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive financial models to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations on financial strategies and plans.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including board members and senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and modeling.
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and visualization.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with financial systems and software, including ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to close books every month and assume responsibilities as the second in command.
  • Account for loans, fixed assets, NPL and REO assets, fees, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, and other accounts using FAS 91 accounting.
  • Reconcile select GL accounts, including cash and accrual accounts.
  • Coordinate with Loan Administration regarding recording loan updates and related data in Accounting system.
  • Generate and file annual 1099 forms with the IRS.
  • Participate in special projects, including automating processes through in-house initiatives or third-party vendors, and perform other duties assigned by the Corporate Controller to support the company.
