Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians to join our dynamic team at a community hospital in Delta, BC.

The hospital's ED is located in Ladner, South Delta, and provides 24/7 emergency physician coverage through multiple shifts per day.

The department has access to various medical services including laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, and CT scans, as well as on-call consultants for admissions. The ED features one resuscitation bay, ten monitored acute care beds, seven fast-track bays, and a twelve-bed observation unit.

To be eligible for permanent positions, applicants must hold CCFP(EM), FRCP(C), or DABEM certification, while term positions require CCFP or GP with relevant experience. All candidates must have current certifications in ACLS, ITLS, or ATLS, APLS or PALS, and advanced airway training. CPSBC registration is also accepted.

Key Requirements:

  • CCFP(EM), FRCP(C), or DABEM certification (permanent)
  • CCFP or GP with EM experience (term)
  • Current certifications in ACLS, ITLS, or ATLS, APLS or PALS, and advanced airway training
  • CPSBC US certified class of registration acceptable
