SAP Datasphere is an all-encompassing data service developed on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), designed to enable every data professional to provide seamless and scalable access to critical business data. It represents the next evolution of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, introducing new features that enhance data exploration, modeling, and distribution. Datasphere Foundations Brazil
To enhance our team, we are seeking a developer eager to establish the foundation of our solution, concentrating on areas such as provisioning and metering. Our work environment provides a stimulating mix of opportunities, a collaborative and energetic group of developers, and the chance to engage with leading infrastructure and cloud technologies alongside colleagues from around the globe.

THE ROLE
As a developer on the Datasphere Foundations team, you will thrive in an innovative cloud environment, collaborating within an agile team alongside seasoned professionals and emerging talents. Your focus will encompass all phases of the development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, and ensuring the quality of the SAP Datasphere product utilizing cutting-edge web technologies such as Golang and Python. You will also be involved in maintenance, CI/CD, and DevOps tasks. This role provides the opportunity to assist stakeholders and customers while collaborating with members from various teams within SAP Datasphere and SAP Data Intelligence.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
As a Developer for the Datasphere Foundations Brazil development team in the SAP Product & Engineering unit, you should possess a hands-on approach and a passion for agile cloud development. An entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to think creatively, and a drive for innovation from concept to execution will be essential for achieving ambitious goals in a fast-paced product environment. Being a team player who collaborates with multiple development teams across locations will be crucial for your team's success.

What You'll Do
In your capacity as a Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing cloud services within an Agile Scrum development framework. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in design and coding using languages such as Golang, Python, Java, shell scripting, and others.

• Developing cloud-native solutions for microservices architectures.

• Managing cloud infrastructure.

• Utilizing Docker & Kubernetes.

• Executing CI/CD tasks in a global development setting using technologies like Jenkins.

• Implementing secure development best practices and methodologies throughout the development and deployment processes for both new and existing solutions.

• Collaborating within an agile team that employs the Scrum framework to self-organize and work towards development objectives.

• Being part of a globally distributed team that significantly impacts the Enterprise Software industry on a worldwide scale.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• A university degree in computer science or a related field.

• Professional experience in software development.
