Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and sub-assemblies for our deep-sea remotely operated vehicles and manipulator arms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies with high precision and accuracy.
- Perform complex electrical assemblies from detailed blueprints and verbal/written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Inspect electrical assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and match assembly prints and work instructions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement process improvements and problem-solving techniques.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective assembly processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of electrical assembly experience.
- Ability to read and understand basic process assembly drawings and bill of materials.
- Proficient in the use of small hand tools, including soldering irons, wire strippers, hand cutters, tweezers, and crimpers.
- Ability to demonstrate soldering and de-soldering techniques.
- Possess training in IPC A-610 and IPC A620 standards or similar standards preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment and adhere to company policies.
Work Environment:
The Davis manufacturing team follows a 9/80 alternative work schedule, with a 5-workday week and a 4-workday week with Friday off. The workday begins at 7:00AM and ends at 4:30PM for a 9-hour day and begins at 7:00AM and ends at 3:30PM for an 8-hour day.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $46.63 per hour. This pay scale is intended to comply with applicable state minimum wage laws.
