Job Function:
Lead a procurement organization in support of high-complexity spend, driving strategic initiatives that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive category strategies for information security products and services, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the information security landscape.
- Supplier Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts that deliver value and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service delivery standards.
- Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor supplier performance and category performance; take corrective actions as necessary.
- Industry Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in information security to inform procurement strategies and decision-making.
