As a project director, you'll ensure the successful completion of IT projects, on-time and within budget. You'll manage project charters, communications, metrics, reporting, as well as the overall project plans and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project schedules, including detailed information related to changes, affected components, functions, timelines, costs, etc.
- Work with team members from multiple functional disciplines and customers to establish completion dates.
- Monitor progress, discuss problems with affected areas, and ensure appropriate personnel are informed of problems and steps are in place to meet schedules.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of project management and ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control IT projects and budget tracking using technical resources.
- Ability to monitor vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule.
- Knowledge of Information Technology standards and policies, and ability to utilize administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
- Solid experience in direct project management working with IT infrastructure teams in an agile environment.
- Proven experience with project management concepts, including project charters, scheduling, and planning projects and successful completion.
