Job Title: Marketing and Communications Lead, Latin America

Job Summary:
The Marketing and Communications Lead for Latin America is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies that align with business objectives in the region. This individual will work closely with country and business leadership to build collaborative partnerships across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement integrated regional marketing and communications initiatives to support business activities and strategic objectives
  • Create compelling narratives that highlight business strengths and are tailored to specific markets or products
  • Act as regional spokesperson and build relationships with key news media
  • Navigate unique media landscapes in Brazil and manage crisis communications
  • Design and execute high-end internal and external events
  • Build collaborative relationships with country and regional leadership, business stakeholders, and corporate staff colleagues
  • Manage relationships with external agency resources, providers, and partners

Qualifications:
  • Experience in marketing and communications
  • Proactive individual who can handle stressful situations and prioritize multiple demands on their time
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in developing and executing marketing, communications, and media relations for a large, global multi-national company
  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to present and defend a point of view with senior leadership, internal colleagues, and external media regarding how best to communicate complex matters
  • Experienced in media outreach to secure coverage in national/regional newspapers, broadcast outlets, and trade publications
  • Strong experience using digital and social media platforms
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, fluent in English and Portuguese
