Senior Software Developer Opportunity

Our company is seeking an experienced software developer to design and develop high-quality, cross-platform libraries and tools that communicate with client machines through USB and Bluetooth interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have strong qualifications in C, C++, and USB/Bluetooth technologies. They should be able to develop scalable, modular application code using software engineering design patterns and contribute to the growth of our business.

  • Coding skills in C, C++
  • Experience with writing unit and integration tests
  • Expertise in USB and Bluetooth (Classic and BLE)
  • Development experience with communications protocols
  • Knowledge of Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS libraries/frameworks
  • Experience with CMake and package managers (npm, CocoaPods, Maven, NuGet, SwiftPM)
  • Unit and integration testing expertise
  • Collaborative Git environment experience (pull requests, branching strategies, tags)
  • Continuous integration and delivery experience (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • SDLC and Scrum/Agile methodologies understanding
  • Algorithms, data structures, and design patterns knowledge
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical teams
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies independently
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Android/iOS development experience
  • Swift programming knowledge
  • Kotlin, Java programming experience
  • Package management skills
  • CMake expertise

As a Senior Software Developer at our company, you will work collaboratively with fellow team members, product managers, firmware engineers, test engineers, and designers to develop cutting-edge digital solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing new features, enhancing existing ones, and improving library quality
  • Applying software engineering design patterns to develop well-structured, modular, performant application code
  • Performing code reviews, writing unit and integration tests, and contributing to architectural planning and refactoring
  • Maintaining best coding practices
  • Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members

This is a remote position based in Brazil, working with our Colombia team.
