About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at ADP Labs in Porto Alegre, Brazil. As a key member of our internationally distributed software development team, you will work on large-scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, the United States, and India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and review requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software.
  • Participate in and collaborate with other stakeholders, including security, quality assurance, training, project management, engineering, hosting, and procurement, as needed, to assist in other aspects of projects.

Requirements

  • Desired: BA/BS degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Desired: Strong experience in equivalent or similar areas.
  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; aware of the competitions and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Be able to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Communication - Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
