  • Develop and implement high-performance data pipelines and platforms.
  • Oversight of data pipeline and platform solution development and implementation.
  • Technical expertise as a reference point for the team.
  • Collaboration with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to discuss business and engineering requirements.
  • Building a great team through recruiting and coaching.
  • Evaluation of performance, provision of feedback, and identification of development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Possession of a people-first mindset with extensive experience in people and careers management within data.
  • Very technical manager who can discuss data event-driven architecture in a modern stack.
  • Background in both Data Platform and Data Pipelines.
  • Expertise in dimensional data modeling (star schema or snowflake) with knowledge of best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python with clean, performant code.
  • Understanding of data lifecycle concepts such as architecture, lineage, governance, privacy.
  • Fluency in cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP).
  • Experience in designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and define strategic roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
