About the Role">

The Agile Coach is responsible for promoting and supporting iterative development methodologies. He helps everyone understand Agile theory, practices, rules, and values. The Agile Coach is a facilitator for cross-functional teams and organizations. He helps everyone to understand and adapt interactions with the team to maximize the value created by the team.

Agile Coach oversees the software development team (including product owners, software developers, and quality engineers), working hand in hand with the program manager, and scale-up under an Agile methodology framework.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the progress of software development prioritized within the backlog, and in line with the program roadmap
  • Build a strong cross-functional team to establish and manage the team's strategy and delivery against roadmap Deliver software as per program roadmap to maximize business value
  • Keep the focus from design to code release roll-out. Maximize delivery, not uncompleted work
  • Manage risks/issues/impediments/integrations and software releases
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, prioritize them, and create plans to resolve them in a timely manner. Helps the team to keep the focus, in anticipating, solving, highlighting impediments
  • Push continuous improvement across the roadmap delivery
  • Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement improvements. Optimize team productivity
  • Drive transparency through relevant JIRA dashboards and KPIs. Report on a weekly basis
  • Provide clear communication to cross-functional agile team leads and program managers, regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities. Continuous improvement - communicator of project/team health and status
  • Support PPMO coordination
  • Trains, coaches, and evangelizes teams on the Agile mindset, frameworks, and practices
  • Advocate for continuous improvement of best practices in agile project management, including agile at scale, ways of working Continuous improvement of Agile teams
  • Creator and facilitator of a collaborative, empowered team's progress toward ownership of the customer and team satisfaction, which fosters creativity and innovation Develop solutions that will truly fill the need

- Agile coach certified - The Certified Scrum Master level I (CSM I)
