We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data infrastructure team, you will play a central role in shaping our organization's data strategy.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Airflow to process large datasets.
- Develop data models across the enterprise architecture layers to support analytics and reporting.
- Optimize SQL queries for large datasets in cloud-based relational systems.
- Build and maintain dashboards and business intelligence workflows using Metabase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define startup metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reproducibility across the data warehouse.
- Establish best practices for data engineering and analytics.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in SQL with experience tuning queries and designing efficient schemas.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, especially Athena, S3, and Glue.
- Experience building analytics dashboards with Metabase or similar BI tools.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture and layered data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of startup / product metrics and how to translate them into analytics workflows.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and ETL tasks.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.
