Environmental Health and Safety Professional

You will be responsible for driving a culture of excellence in environmental health and safety within our organization. Your expertise in developing and implementing effective HSE programs will ensure the well-being of our employees, the protection of the environment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DNREC regulations.

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes. You will also participate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non-conformances, provide Health and Safety expertise for new projects and change management activities, and maintain an up-to-date incident reporting system.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required, as well as a strong understanding of regulatory reports and compliances.

  • Graduate degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English language.

Bonus requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Experience working in the food industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Power BI software.
