We are looking for a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing and overhauling 4-stroke marine diesel engines.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing service activities such as overhauls and repairs on 4-stroke medium-speed engines. You will also interact professionally with customers during the work execution and perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for developing their 4-stroke knowledge to the next level and possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written). They will also have good negotiating skills and strong organizational skills.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with electrical systems and gain experience in working with persons of different cultural backgrounds. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures.
