Postdoctoral Researcher in Structural Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the University of São Paulo's São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC-USP) in Brazil. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research group focused on understanding the structure and function of proteins.
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for using cryogenic electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) and other biophysical techniques to study the structure and dynamics of protein complexes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in protein production and purification, as well as experience with Cryo-EM and other structural biology techniques.
The research group is led by Dr. Richard C. Garratt, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a project that is highly relevant to the field of structural biology. The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to publish research papers in top-tier journals and present their work at international conferences.
The postdoctoral position is open to candidates of any nationality, and the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package. The position is available for a period of two years, with the possibility of extension.
Eligibility criteria include a doctoral degree in a relevant field, as well as experience in protein production and purification. The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record and a track record of presenting research at international conferences.
