Chief Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Information Security professional to join our team. As an IT Security Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing and managing robust security measures to protect our information assets and critical data from cyber threats.

This includes ensuring the security and integrity of digital projects, initiatives, and processes. You will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions, developing and executing security plans, creating and updating security documentation, and collaborating with other teams to establish and maintain baseline security configuration standards.

• Design and Implementation: Develop security solutions to protect our information assets and capabilities.
• Security Planning: Create and execute security plans based on established security practices and frameworks.
• Documentation: Create and update security documentation to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations.
• Collaboration: Work with IT Infrastructure & Operations to establish and maintain baseline security configuration standards.

In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure adequate security measures are in place.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, endpoint and extended detection and response, SIEM, and log management technologies. They will also have experience with vulnerability management processes and tools, as well as implementing and managing security in public cloud services, primarily Microsoft Azure.

• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Windows server and workstation versions (mandatory) and Linux (desirable).
• Application Security: Understanding of application security principles and practices.
• Databases: Knowledge of database security.
