Job Summary

We are currently looking for a senior-level candidate to help support the business growth in our Sao Paulo, Brazil office. Successful candidates may have held senior analyst or accounting coordination or finance positions in public or private companies and demonstrated experience in leading teams to accomplish unusually complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the period-end close process by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all lease accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Manage key leased life cycle events.
  • Perform analytical review of lease related balances and provide balance sheet account movements to support cash flow reporting.
  • Drive projects, provide accounting guidance, and often serve as the first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and influence across multiple organizations with partner teams and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
  • Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.
  • Advanced English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, or MBA.
  • Experience in participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
  • Experience with accounting closing process, including preparing and reviewing reconciliations.
