This is a Site Reliability Engineering position, which involves maintaining and enhancing various aspects of the Z environment. This includes z/OS Storage Management, Configuration, Performance, Capacity, and Networking tools. You will also support and improve multi-technology monitoring and automated remediation systems.

You should have deep knowledge of z/OS Base, z/Storage, or z/Config support in a mainframe environment. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Network technologies is also required. Additionally, you should be able to solve complex problems, including installation, configuration, high availability, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and security & compliance activities.

As an SRE in IBMCIO Platform Engineering (CPE), you will lead discussions on z/OS infrastructure design, planning, and implementation. You must be able to work autonomously with an innovative mindset and be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

About This Role

This role involves working on various technical tasks, including problem determination and resolution. You should be able to analyze complex problems and come up with creative solutions. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and improving the Z environment.

Requirements
