Senior Software Engineer for Cloud-Based Compute Platform

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in cloud-based compute platforms.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality code for our cloud-based compute platform;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features;
  • Evaluate and document existing integrations;
  • Work on the development of features that optimize our main platform;
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • At least 8 years of experience writing production-quality code;
  • Strong proficiency with React and NodeJS;
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices in frontend architecture;
  • Experience with Test Driven Development;
  • Experience designing and building scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications;
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL;
  • Familiarity with integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, XML, JSON);
  • Exposure to Cloud services and DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, Redis, Kubernetes).

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time remote position;
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in Pacific Time Zone hours as needed;
  • Upper-Intermediate English level required.
