We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation data infrastructure and BI platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of technical leadership and hands-on implementation.

About the Role

This role is responsible for architecting and leading the development of a scalable, high-performance data and BI platform that serves tens of thousands of simultaneous users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a scalable, high-performance data and BI platform that meets the evolving needs of our business.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs and define long-term technical solutions.
  • Drive strategic initiatives around AI, data quality, observability, lineage, and governance.
  • Mentor engineers across the team, driving technical excellence and helping scale our engineering culture.
  • Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to design data solutions that enable rapid experimentation and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL and database fundamentals, with strong experience working with data lakes and warehouses.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Golang, or Java.
  • Experience working with, designing, and implementing different APIs for systems.
  • Knowledge of analytics tooling and the needs of downstream data consumers.
  • Knowledge of distributed data processing systems and event streaming technologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD for data infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to align stakeholders and influence data strategy.
