Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our Finance & Accounting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with experience in managing financial data and reporting. You will be responsible for monthly closing and balance sheets, as well as providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on accounting matters.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on accounting matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
