About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with experience in machine learning, data analysis and visualization to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and deliver projects starting with diverse data and business targets
  • Contribute to general features for internal product libraries while delivering for specific clients
  • Own report delivery for clients and contribute to library documentation
  • Explore and present datasets and narrative visualizations
  • Build linguistic and statistical models
  • Translate business problems into specifications for computational tasks like classification or ranking

Requirements:
  • 2+ years writing queries in SQL or running models in Python/Jupyter
  • 2+ years doing statistical analysis
  • Clear communication skills, both written and spoken
  • High standard of excellence for work
  • Attention to detail: spotting errors in variables, syntax in text and gremlins in data
  • Ability to define evidence-based solutions to open-ended business problems

Bonus Points:
  • Familiarity with NLP techniques or computational linguistics
  • Fluency in data storytelling
  • Github proficiency
  • Knowledge of Regular Expressions
  • PostgreSQL 12+
