Marine Inspector Position

We are seeking a skilled Marine Inspector to verify navigation and machinery on board vessels, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the functionality and maintenance of equipment, tools, accessories, and systems on board, including behavior during task execution and compliance with procedures and regulatory norms (IMO, MARPOL, NORMAM, etc.).
  • Verify documentation required for vessels by the National Maritime Authority and international standards, as well as certificates from classification societies and technical reports on equipment and systems on board, to ensure compliance with legal and normative requirements.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree or certification in naval engineering, inspection, mechanics, electromechanics, metallurgy, electricity, automation, or maintenance from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in vessel inspections.
  • Active CRT certification.
