About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team at WatchGuard Technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our main objectives, including developing robust processes, ensuring high-performance and resilient software, and mentoring other engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring that we are using agile methodologies and best practices to deliver high-quality software.
  2. Software Development: Develop and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud managed security services, using various relational and NoSQL database technologies.
  3. Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on software engineering discipline, including test-driven design, unit test code coverage, automation, OSS compliance and vulnerabilities, monitoring focused, secure coding practices, etc.
  4. Collaboration: Foster an open environment of collaboration, transparency, innovation, and fun for positive teamwork.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant professional experience in tech, with a strong background in.Net, ASP.Net, and C#. You will also need to be comfortable with JIRA, Confluence, Test-Driven Design, Azure cloud technologies, and have built and deployed numerous large-scale and high-performance cloud-based services.

You will be a passionate, solutions-oriented, SDLC-driven full stack engineer who is up for a challenge. You will come with strong technical skills and experience, and a desire to help our customers/partners succeed.
