Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Select, negotiate, and maintain key relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of materials.
- Logistics Oversight: Manage the transportation and distribution of products, implementing measures to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate demand planning, preventing shortages and surpluses.
- Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to improve and automate key logistics processes using data analysis and advanced technological tools.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work closely with production, sales, quality, and finance teams to ensure that the supply chain aligns with the company's objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify risks in the supply chain, implement contingency plans, and ensure operational continuity.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum of 5 years in similar supply chain management roles, preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), TMS, and WMS, with experience in data interpretation for decision-making.
- Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and experience in logistics process automation is highly valued.
