Azumo is looking for a motivated Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to test across a range of technologies including web, cloud, microservices, SQL, NoSQL, and big data solutions.
The products and features under development are used by millions, and the Quality Assurance Specialist will serve as the quality gatekeeper for the product.
The position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to collaborate with a growing team of talented engineers in backend, analytics, and big data computing.
Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive test plans to evaluate product scalability, fault tolerance, stability, and backward compatibility.
- Improve and maintain scalable test automation strategies.
- Assess various approaches and technologies for test methodology implementation.
- Diagnose, track, and resolve quality issues.
The role requires a strong work ethic, problem-solving passion, and self-motivation.
Requirements:- BS or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years in software testing, test automation, and test development.
- Over 1 year coding experience in Java and Python.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including performance testing.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test coverage analysis.
- Experience testing distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
- Knowledge of big data platforms like Hadoop and Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS EC2, Docker, Redshift, EMR.
- Experience testing analytics, dashboards, and visualization software.
