Job Title: Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a skilled frontend professional to contribute to the development of a leading global online community and discussion platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are fluent in English and based in Brazil. You will be part of a remote team working on the frontend of one of the largest online platforms used daily by millions worldwide.

About the Role:

  • Develop, maintain, and support all features of the platform's frontend.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Collaborate with the team on future features and visual design possibilities.
  • Manage assigned tasks in Jira, ensuring clear communication on progress, questions, and risks.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and share best practices with a global, remote team.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on building user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScript.
  • Solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics.
  • Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate with remote teams and convey complex technical topics.
