Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the verification, integration and testing activities of a Signaling project, ensuring quality, cost and delivery requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will define and lead all in-house project activities related to Verification, Integration and Testing, collaborating closely with Test & Commissioning to complement in-house with on-site testing activities.

In situations where Safety is involved, the successful candidate will discuss and agree the overall V&V strategy with Safety Assurance Manager to ensure the achievement and demonstration of requested safety targets.

The role involves sharing the V&V strategy defined with Project Engineering Manager to deliver a validated solution, agreeing on required inputs and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, ensuring proper coverage and demonstration that customer and design requirements are met.
  • Optimize allocation of tests in-house and on-site, favoring labs to anticipate results and increase efficiency and coverage;
  • Organize and lead documental verification and reviews;
  • Monitor and follow-up execution and reporting of activities delegated to experts in other departments;
  • Define needs, architecture and follow-up implementation of testbenches and analysis tools.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Engineer graduation;

- Good communication and interpersonal skills;

- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills;

- Analytical mind;

- Teamwork abilities;

- Technician background on validation activities as test execution on in-house platform and requirement verification, platform setup and configuration;

- English fluency, Spanish basic;

- Ability to travel.
