Senior Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to enhance our IT systems by introducing new technology and integrating with third-party providers.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical design specifications.

  • Develop and integrate Derivative Trading Applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders including Traders, Operations, and Strats
  • Identify technology solutions for enhancements or new initiatives
  • Implement unit and integration test cases
  • Document changes necessary to support business

Mandatory Skills:

  • 6+ years of enterprise development experience (Java/JDK 8+)
  • Experience developing High-Performance and Distributed Applications
  • Message Brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Cache/In-Memory Data Grids (Redis, Hazelcast)
  • REST/SOAP/gRPC
  • OOP/OOD
  • Concurrency and multithreading
  • Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
  • SQL and DB knowledge
  • Automated testing (TDD, BDD, Mutation testing)
  • Linux commands
  • Geo-distributed and asynchronous teams

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Apache Camel
  • Job schedulers (Tidal, Control-M, Autosys)
