Job Opportunity

We seek an experienced software developer to design, implement, and deploy scalable software solutions.

The ideal candidate will maintain our platform that processes millions of transactional requests daily. They will collaborate with our team of experienced developers to cultivate an engineering culture emphasizing sustainable quality, continuous delivery, high availability, quick feedback, and meritocracy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing and testing code in an incremental, agile, and well-documented manner;
  • Conducting thorough code reviews and assisting teammates with complex designs and architectural decisions;
  • Testing and following code to production continuously;
  • Developing new tools to facilitate team work;
  • Interacting with colleagues from different departments like Product, Finance, Risk, and Business Development;
  • Working on strategic projects;
  • Evolving and deciding the future of our payments platform;
  • Maintaining high availability (99.9%) and high throughput (100+ TPS), written in PHP, and MySQL.

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years designing, implementing, and deploying software solutions;
  • Interest in subjects such as data structures, concurrency, persistence, and distributed systems;
  • Expertise in git or any other collaborative version control system;
  • A vision for software quality, evolution of systems, decomposition of problems, and abstractions;
  • A strong ability to learn new practices, technologies, programming languages, and absorbing engineering culture;

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for software development, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate with a talented team.
