We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Key Account Manager. This position will be responsible for the effective management of accounts receivable and the timely collection of outstanding invoices.
The successful candidate will oversee the entire account management process, ensuring that all interactions with clients are professional and courteous.
Responsibilities:- Manage a team of billing specialists responsible for generating and sending invoices to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure smooth communication and efficient payment processing.
- Oversee the coordination of training programs for new staff members and identify areas for improvement in current staff performance.
- Resolve sales tax discrepancies and assist in uploading invoices/documents to customer portals.
- Coordinate with the client service team to ensure accurate documentation prior to uploading invoices to customer portals.
- Lead weekly meetings between the client service team and the billing team to discuss ongoing issues and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute AR reconciliations to the client service team to aid in resolving collections issues.
- Research unapplied payments and determine the best course of action for proper application to customer accounts.
- Document business processes for customers to ensure clear understanding and compliance.
- Monitor delayed or delinquent payments and work with customers to collect these amounts.
- Investigate any customer account issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support financial audits by providing necessary information.
