Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of our biggest projects within the retail industry.
About You:
- You are a humble, passionate, and experienced engineer who is excited to write code and is comfortable working with sales, accounts, and other engineers.
- You have a positive outlook and are interested in working in a highly collaborative work environment.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines using Python and Airflow.
- Develop internal tooling and scripts with Python.
- Debug and resolve issues that come up with regards to data or application.
- Maintain and scale the AWS backend infrastructure that uses API Gateway, Lambda, Dynamo, S3.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and business teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new clients into the platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Demonstrated ability to code in Python.
- Familiarity with Python packages such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib, and Flask.
- Knowledge of AWS services and how they can be used in conjunction with one another.
- Willingness to learn and deep dive into new technologies.
- Good communication skills to be able to communicate with business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement viable solutions in a timely manner.
