Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our e-commerce systems using Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain our e-commerce systems using Shopify.
  • Work closely with software developers and QA teams to deliver best design and implementation of features within the team.
  • Actively participate in Product-led Agile ceremonies and facilitate Engineering-led meetings.
  • Conduct frequent code reviews, unit testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Collect, analyze, and report required software development metrics needed to assess team performance and areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical oversight and make modifications to existing software in collaboration with leadership.
  • Assist in identification and implementation of short-term and long-term technical and software solutions to business needs.
  • Design, implement, and support website availability monitors in coordination with the Kenvue site reliability team.
  • Partner with the Product and Platform team to understand their roadmap and planned features.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years software development experience with a variety of languages.
  • 1+ years people management experience.
  • Ecommerce software development and solutions experience.
  • Shopify storefront development using Shopify themes.
  • Competence with software development tools, including IDEs, source code management systems, and build/deploy tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Git version control system and concepts.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern API integration methodologies and associated modern authentication mechanisms.
