As a Magento/Adobe Commerce Developer at InComm Payments, you will have the opportunity to build and enhance digital and online customer experiences for some of the world's well-known brands. You will apply your knowledge and skills in Magento/Adobe Commerce to build full-featured experiences.
Responsibilities:- Analyze requirements/user stories to support design activities and ensure seamless integration with the development team.
- Perform all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications, including developing prototypes, writing new code, and implementing APIs.
- Conduct unit testing of software components, including the design, implementation, evaluation, and execution of unit test scripts.
- Debug software components, identify, fix, and verify remediation of code defects (own work and the work of others).
- Lead project/feature implementation and delegate tasks accordingly to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure the Performance of the application and identify areas for improvement.
- Research and resolve production issues, and implement tooling to streamline development processes.
- Ensure the Security of features and the application, following InComm standards and best practices.
- Support new and continued Magento 2x development of Open and Closed loop product platforms deployed to the cloud.
- Develop, build, deploy, configure, and certify applications, following InComm standards and best practices.
- Manage and maintain lower environments on-prem and cloud (QA, UAT, Staging).
- Create documentation on the existing system and maintain documentation, including system flow, sequence diagrams, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions.
- Migrate platforms and application components, ensuring seamless integration with the development team.
- Support after-hours coverage/escalation & support on-call rotation.
- Bachelors/ M.S Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Technical background with good English communication and writing skills.
- 7+ years of progressive development experience.
- 5 + years in Magento/Adobe Commerce development.
- Familiarity with system design and experience developing customer-facing web experiences utilizing PHP 7/8, HTML, jQuery, MySQL, and REST web technologies.
- Ability and desire to learn new technical skills quickly.
- Experience with the entire Agile lifecycle of software development, including the use of version control tools, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking.
- Expert understanding of API Architecture and Management, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Release Automation, Software Architecture and Patterns, Automated Testing, and the ability to implement those throughout the organization.
- Ability to contribute to a development team utilizing Agile software development methodologies and principles.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud environment (not required, but a plus).
