Job Description:

Lead a team of skilled engineers to design and implement cutting-edge solutions for Ubuntu, the world's most widely used Linux desktop and server. Collaborate with key technology partners to deliver a seamless, optimized user experience on the latest hardware platforms.

As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, and fostering a culture of excellence within your team.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with major silicon companies to integrate next-generation features and performance enhancements.
  • Oversee the development of high-performance, server-class hardware solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to help them grow in their careers and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Maintain strict quality and reliability standards throughout the development process.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in software engineering and technical leadership.
  • Proven experience working with Linux distributions, Debian packaging, and high-performance hardware.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work across multiple teams.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent.
