We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Support Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL) production and non-production databases. This role requires a keen understanding of our platform, backed by continuous learning provided by Guidewire Education, Product Development, and Site Reliability Engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively within the Product Development Operations (PDO) team to serve our customers in both Guidewire Cloud and on-premise environments.
- Function as a primary contact to review, investigate, and promptly fulfill Customer requests and resolve incidents.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our database, platform and applications through company-sponsored training and experience.
